I think that one thing (if not the only) i really dislike about being pregnant is the fact that your wardrobe no longer serves you after your first trimester. You are constantly on a shopping spree (not like you have that much money to spend sometimes ) and you end up with pieces that you are not particularly excited about half of the time. With the need to stay stylish in a bump, each time i had to dress up, i spend more that 8 minutes raking through a pile of clothes in my wardrobe to pick my outfit (no kidding) and luckily half the time i don’t look miserable.
In this post i am sharing pictures to inspire you as you shop for maternity pieces. Also you can be inspired to work with your tailor to create something that looks similar, as it suits your style.
While you are expecting, your mood can go from zero to hundred when you rock that bump stylishly. True or Yes?
I never bother with the so called maternity stores because, to me most of them do not have maternity clothes. Well maybe i meant to say that the clothes i find are not just my kind of stay-stylish-in-a-bump pieces. Sometimes i go into the store and realize that i don’t even know what i want anymore. As a result, it is very easy to give up on staying stylish while strutting around with a bump.
The cropped top dress doubles as maternity and nursing dress.
I really don’t like styles that hug my bump, i love things to flow freely. Whatever your forte, i hope these styles brings you some inspiration as to what to wear or how to wear what you have. Your next shopping experience will be eventful!. Call up your tailor already!
